ANNY Interview With Hannes Rall

Animation Nights New York has joined forces with Animation for Adults for our Animator Interview podcast series.

We are posting audio podcasts as part of the Animation for Adults channel and posting video versions of the podcast including clips of work from the filmmakers.

First up in our podcast series is an interview with Hannes Rall. We interview Hannes Rall at 180 Maiden Lane in NYC.

Hannes Rall is an Independent Animation Director. He is also Associate Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Hannes has shown his work in exhibitions and screenings around the world.  He has been an invited speaker for workshops and conferences in more than 20 countries and over 400 film festivals worldwide. His research is focused on exploring adaptation methodologies of traditional Asian art forms for animation and on inter-cultural collaborations.

Animation Nights New York screened Hannes Rall’s film, “All The World’s a Stage” last year, at our June Flix screening event (Program #10), at 180 Maiden Lane. “The Cold Heart” and “Si Lunchai“, are scheduled to screen in upcoming programs, this year.
